SYDNEY, July 9 (Reuters) - Australian financed dwelling commitments for May,
released by the Australian Bureau of Statistics on Wednesday.

A Reuters poll forecast a fall of 2.0 percent for housing finance,
seasonally adjusted.
The value of owner-occupied housing finance fell 5.7 percent to A$12.581
billion ($11.98 billion). The value of investment housing fixed loans fell 6.8
percent to A$5.56 billion.
The number of approvals for the purchase of new dwellings fell 13.5 percent,
while commitments for the purchase of established dwellings fell 8.0 percent.
Construction finance fell 5.0 percent.
