PSP will market to Canadian military and law enforcement personnel, who face growing threats from snipers and combatants both domestic and abroad, but must operate under strict rules of engagement for returning fire.
Ears is currently deployed with U.S. forces in Afghanistan and Iraq, and is the smallest and lightest sniper detection system deployed by US Forces. Weighing only 12 ounces and with a battery life of 13 hours, the man-mounted Ears system is able to detect and provide the direction and range to a sniper within 400 milliseconds.
