MADRID (Thomson Financial) - Telefonica SA's Movistar will be the sole
distributor of Apple Inc's iPhone in Spain at a price of under 100 euros, in
exchange for two to three years of client loyalty, according to Spanish press.
The Spanish telecom group will sell the third generation of the iPhone,
which has a video camera and GPS.
Yesterday, Telefonica announced that it has signed an agreement with Apple
to sell the iPhone in Spain this year, but did not provide further details.
